Chattanooga Human Svc will help with light bills that you cannot pay and many other services. For many of these services you need to prove your need. Proof includes social security cards, Medicaid cards, and rent receipts for each member of your household. This is strictly a women's and children's shelter. They only take referrals for women and children who are seeking a transitional program. Phone (423) 624-6144.

Community Kitchen

Assist individuals with shelter, food, and furniture. For more information about getting assistance, you will need to go to the clinic and be assigned a Case Manager. The office is open Monday through Friday 7:00-5:00, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00-Noon. Meals are served Monday through Friday 7:00-8:00 for Breakfast, 11:00-11:45 for lunch and 4:00-4:45 for Supper.
